Summary of options for remote/web control

1) MicroLogix 1100:
Built in ethernet and web page - user gets to chose which datatable files are exposed (limit ~ 50). Also allows chaging of these values. Three levels of security (passwords)
***Least expensive option with many extras - real time clock, rs232/485 port also can talk modbus, online edits, small built in display, low res on board analog, etc
2) MicroLogix 1200 or 1500:
1761-NET-ENIW:
Create web pages in ENIW which displays values and allows chages (not graphical screens)
***Good option for Micro's that need ethernet added
3) Spectrum Controls Webport
SLC / PLC
Customizable graphic web pages etc
***Good for A-B serial / ethernet SLCs/PLCs
4) ControlLogix Processor, Chassis, PS:
1756-EWEB:
Customizable graphic web pages etc
***Good when 1756 Chassis already exists
5) VersaView CE (A PVPlus with WindowsCE desktop)
Free VNC utility allows remote control RSViewME screens running on VV CE
***Good when using OI and RSViewStudio/RSViewME project.
6) RSViewME/SE/32 on PC
Remote control with free VNC, free remote desktop sharing, or PC anywhere
***Good for simple remote control of PC screens
7) RSLinx OEM and ASP.NET
Built web pages based on ASP.NET to communicate to RSLinx
***Good for web developers
8) RSView32 Webserver:
Install on top of RSView32 Runtime - serves up rsview32 screens tags and alarms as static webpages to unlimited html clients
***Good for existing RSView32 users - not live changing screens - press refresh to see new data
9) RSView32 Active Display system:
Client Server addon to RSView32 Runtime - For remote internet clients Terminal services (PDA or PC) or VPN connection (PC) for remote clients - VPN clients can run client inside IE 5.5
***Good for realtime remote RSView32 clients
